Although the installation follows the arrangement of "Dead or alive?", it develops a new character of its own owing to the completely different surrounding: Within the limits of the white walls and glass fronts of the empty room, the objects appear particularly shrill and artificial. Their shape, though forming a strong contrast to the cubic room, is, however, reflected by the round ceiling openings and by the round ceiling lights. Round pillars massively support the light vertical line of the installation.
Here again it is intended to produce an association with movement, although the movement in this particular case seems to derive from outside: A downfall owing to gravitation, a drift apart as a result of edging out or an upward maelstrom with unknown origin. The balance of the two directions of the movement is reflected in the title.
